Si vis pacem…
“Si vis pacem” is the name of motivational methodology developed by Roger Esteller and has its origins in the mythical title of Roman culture: “Si vis pacem, para bellum” – “If you want peace, prepare for war”. “Si vis pacem” is the extrapolation of the experience of an elite athlete, Roger Esteller, to other scopes, such as personal or business. The methodology is divided into 12 principles that are the way to achieving career goals and personal goals that anyone mark in life. The initials of “Si vis pacem, para bellum” S·V·P coincide with the initials of the three key elements of the methodology: Sense: objective of the company; Value: courage to achieve the objective; Power: The action that leads to the achievement of the goals

The Motivacional Scale is the starting point for the implementation of the “Si vis pacem” method. It is a motivational diagnosis tool originally developed by Roger Esteller and is presented as a test that identifies external and internal supports that have the members of an organization to achieve the desired results. The motivational methodology “Si vis pacem” is a process within the company that begins obtaining the corporate information required by the analysts: history and philosophy of the company, performance, current status, strengths and weaknesses, future strategy… Afeter obtaining this information and the results of the Motivational Scale Teste, which have been previously distributed among staff, we construct a Motivational Report, which analyzes these results from all areas of the company; therefore the document called “Motivational State Report 360”. From the report’s findings, the team can prepare a Motivational Action Plan (P.A.M.) completely individualized. The Switch On team’s work continues riwith the Tracking Motivational Business (S.E.M.) of the company analyzed.

It refers to the whole enterprise. It shows the degree of satisfaction (GS) of all workers, their internal supports or “Si vis pacem” (SVP) supports, and the resulting Motivacional Balance Ratio (REM).
DEPARTMENTAL ANALYSIS
The motivational state of the members of the various departments are analyzed and compared to the total company. The results are also interpreted according to the gender of workers analyzed.
MOTIVATIONAL ASPECT ANALYSIS
Each motivational aspect (vision, error, motivation …) is studied independently and the results obtained by each department are compared with each other departments and in relation to global enterprise.
DEPARTMENT HEADS INDIVIDUAL ANALYSIS

CONCLUSIONS

P.A.M. (Motivational Action Plan)
Motivational Action Plan (MAP) is the proposal of solutions that perform professionals from Switch On to address the weaknesses identified in the company throughout the process. This is definitely act on the problems identified, focusing on behavioral modification that causes the necessary changes both at individual, departmental and global capabilities to optimize and improve business performance.
S.E.M. (Entrepreneurial Motivational Monitoring)
The Entrepreneurial Motivational Monitoring (SEM) is an annual service that offers Switch On to companies with which it has carried out the process of motivational methodology “Si vis pacem” .The objective of monitoring is to preserve and strengthen the improvement obtained through the PAM to establish the basis of motivational support towards achieving the objectives. The SEM includes both diagnosis and direct intervention in people and business groups.
